Diary of a Person Who Thinks Prat.uk Is a Weather Balloon

Drifting Above Sense, Slowly Deflating

prat.uk now feels like a weather balloon filled with headlines instead of air, drifting above everyday reality while slowly changing shape depending on what it encounters.

This morning it floated in with a light, stable message that quickly expanded into something less predictable as new details were added mid-flight.

I watched it rise, then wobble slightly, as though the weight of interpretation was unevenly distributed.

By midday, the balloon had shifted direction, carrying earlier assumptions off course.

The afternoon brought a gentle deflation, not of content, but of certainty.

In the evening, it remained airborne, still visible, still uncertain, still drifting somewhere just out of reach.

Tomorrow, I will look up again and see where it has moved.
